1. Leave your Second Skin bandage on for 3-5 days
   
   • The bandage is waterproof – you can shower normally
   • It's normal to see some fluid accumulation underneath
   • Don't peel edges or remove early unless necessary

1. When to Remove Early:
   
   • If you experience itching or discomfort
   • If you notice any allergic reaction
   • If the bandage becomes compromised or starts peeling significantly

1. After Second Skin Removal:
   
   • Gently wash with unscented soap and lukewarm water
   • Pat dry with clean paper towels
   • Apply minimal moisturizer as needed
   • Keep the area clean and avoid direct sunlight

If you need to remove the Second Skin early, switch to this method:

1. Clean the area with unscented soap and lukewarm water
2. Apply a thin layer of A&D or Aquaphor ointment
3. Repeat cleaning and applying ointment 2-3 times daily
4. Continue this process for 2 weeks

• Don't swim or soak in water
• Don't expose to direct sunlight
• Don't pick or scratch at the healing tattoo
• Don't over-moisturize

   • Gently clean both the jewelry and surrounding area
   • Remove any crust formation carefully during cleaning
   • Pat dry with clean paper towels

• 1 cup of warm distilled water
• Mix until salt is completely dissolved
• Use fresh solution each time

• Maintain regular cleaning schedule
• Keep hair and clothing away from the piercing
• Sleep with a clean pillowcase
• Wash hands before touching the area

• Don't rotate or play with the jewelry
• Don't use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide
• Don't remove your jewelry during healing
• Don't submerge in pools, hot tubs, or lakes during healing
• Don't sleep directly on your new piercing
